About

I am proud to call the North Memphis community my lifelong home. This close-knit neighborhood is a vibrant and diverse community that has shaped me into the person I am today. Growing up in this area, I have seen firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with living in an urban setting. I am grateful for the support and sense of community that I have always felt here.

  • My Education

I am a proud graduate of Manassas High School class of 1995. After completing my high school education, I continued my academic journey at Christian Brothers University in Memphis where I graduated Cum Laude in May of 2020. With a strong passion for public health, I pursued a Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management at Bethel University and completed it in 2023.

  • My Professional Journey

My professional journey has been diverse and rewarding. I have over 5 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, helping individuals and businesses manage their finances effectively. Additionally, my 29 years of customer service experience have allowed me to hone my interpersonal skills and provide excellent service to those I serve.

I have also had the opportunity to engage with my community in various ways throughout my career. For 19 years, I have actively participated in community engagement initiatives, from volunteering at local non-profits to organizing events for underprivileged youth. Additionally, I have over 23 years of experience working in K-12 education with the Shelby County School District and even owned my own childcare facility, serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years old.

My greatest passion is serving and helping others, which has led me to gain experience in various fields and industries. For the past 12 years, I have worked with the elderly and individuals with special needs, providing them with excellent care and support. My dedication to serving others also led me to work in home health for 7 years, providing essential services to those who needed it most. I currently manage TAJ Home Care Service (Non-Medical) and I am the President of TEES Loving Care Nonprofit Organization.
